A leading flagship Payment System Operator(PSO) from a renowned construction firm in Bangladesh handles large-scale financial transactions for its users. It supports high-volume payment processing during national events and high-traffic periods.
In 2025, they encountered a challenge where they were tasked to support payment services during two of the most high-profile national events:
- DITF (Dhaka International Trade Fair) – An annual event that attracts millions of visitors and generates a massive volume of transactions.
- BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) – A nationwide cricket league with significant viewership and transaction spikes during matches.
They needed a scalable, secure solution that could handle rising transactions and security risks during such large events. Since their on-premise servers risked being overwhelmed, we developed a custom AWS infrastructure, migrating their on-premise setup to a cloud environment that provided:
- Auto-scaling to handle transaction spikes.
- Better bandwidth for seamless payment processing.
- Data residency and security with AWS Outposts rack integration.
Additionally, we also synchronized their on-premise infrastructure with AWS, creating a hybrid system that guaranteed performance, security, and compliance in one go. Our solutions helped them achieve a cashless, national-scale transaction system with resilient infrastructure on the AWS cloud, secure against potential threats.

The Challenges
Network backbone limitations
The client’s existing infrastructure supported limited bandwidth, and it was already operating at full capacity under normal conditions.
The projected traffic surges during high-profile events like DITF and BPL indicated a peak requirement for a larger bandwidth.
Scaling the network to large bandwidth required large capital expenditure, hardware upgrades, and vendor coordination, making it an impractical short-term solution.
Security risks
Limitations to firewall & physical access risks made the data vulnerable to cyber threats and potential sabotage.
Given the high-profile nature of DITF and BPL, the client’s payment platform was a prime target for cyberattacks, including service disruptions and potential financial losses.
Infrastructure constraints
Upgrading the hardware required significant downtime, which was not feasible during live events that demanded uninterrupted transactions.
